What Is EFT/TFT Tapping?

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Thought Field Therapy (TFT) are holistic healing methods that combine traditional Chinese Medicine with modern psychological acupressure techniques.


 

EFT/TFT or "Tapping" is needle-LESS! 

During a "Tapping" Session, Practitioners or the client themselves gently tap their fingers on certain acupuncture/acupressure points of the body in a specified sequential order while focusing on a particular issue or emotion they wish to resolve. These points are located along the body’s meridians, which are considered the pathways through which energy flows.

This process is believed to stimulate the energy pathways, helping to release blockages and restore balance to the body’s energy system. It aims to reduce the intensity of negative emotions; alleviate stress, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, phobias, mental health challenges; and promote overall wellbeing. It is believed to be effective in reducing tension and promoting a state of emotional and physical balance. 


It is also an energy healing modality, and has the ability to reprogram cellular memory and thought processes.

EFT/TFT or “Tapping” is grounded in the belief that the imbalances in the body's energy system can lead to negative emotions and health issues. Releasing the negative emotions help to bring bodymind soul into homeostasis (natural balance), allowing optimal healing within the vessel of body. 


It is believed TFT “Thought Field Therapy” - Deemed The Original Tapping Solution, neutralizes negative emotions and associated disturbances through meridian tapping sequences that are specific to the specific thought field. As with any therapeutic method, the effectiveness of EFT/TFT varies from person to person, depending on individual circumstances, the nature of the issues being addressed, and the frequency and consistency of practice.


EFT/TFT are best understood as part of a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Thought Field Therapy (TFT) complement traditional medical treatments and psychological therapies.
